Hailing from the “Magic City” of Birmingham, Maya Smith is no stranger to the world of Media and Mass Communications.

Upon graduation from the University of Alabama in 2001 Maya took a job as an Account Executive with WTTO-TV in the Sales department. It was here that Maya’s career in Advertising began to take off. She polished and refined her networking skills all the while hob-knobbing with Birmingham’s elite Advertising and Journalism communities.

Eventually Maya would leave the “Magic City” of Birmingham and try her hat on in another metropolis of the south, Atlanta. She worked in National Sales before moving over to the Agency side of Advertising. And after working for various clients such as: Daimler Chrysler, Dodge, MGM, Lincoln-Mercury, Mattel, Campbell’s, Greenbriar Mall, Tanger Outlets, and the Center for Disease Control; Maya decided to strike out on her own by founding, InkLinesWriting.
